Advanced Water Purification:

The first and most critical ingredient is water. Industrial plants use a multi-stage Water Treatment System. This includes quartz sand filtration, activated carbon adsorption, and Reverse Osmosis (RO). The goal is to reach a “blank slate” water profile, ensuring that mineral content does not interfere with the iconic flavor.

Precision Syrup Blending:

The “concentrate” is mixed with treated water and sweeteners (like high-fructose corn syrup or sugar) in massive stainless steel blending tanks. This mixture, known as “Simple Syrup,” must be chilled and agitated to ensure a perfectly homogeneous liquid before it meets the CO₂.

Carbo-Cooling & Mixing Stage:

This is where the magic happens. CO₂ dissolves best in cold liquids. The syrup-and-water mixture passes through CO₂ beverage mixer machine, which chills the liquid to approximately 0-4℃.

Coca-Cola Isobaric Filling Machine:

The chilled, carbonated liquid moves to the carbonated beverage filling machine. To prevent the gas from escaping (and the drink from foaming over), an Isobaric Filling Valve is used.

The bottle is first pressurized with CO₂ to match the tank pressure. Only then does the liquid flow down the sides of the bottle. This “calm” filling method ensures zero loss of fizz and perfect fill levels at filling speed can reach up to 20,000 bottles per hour.

Hermetic Capping and Warming

Immediately after filling, a high-torque capper seals the bottle. Because the drink is filled cold, the bottle is then passed through a Warming Tunnel. This raises the temperature to room level to prevent condensation from forming on the bottle, which would interfere with labeling and packaging.
