The automatic beer canning line efficiently, hygienically, and with high quality fills fermented, filtered, and matured clear beer into aluminum cans, followed by sealing, sterilization, labeling, and packaging, ultimately resulting in a market-ready product.
Beer Canning Line Process Flow:
1. Empty Can Handling and Washing: Stacked empty cans (usually automatically fed by a stacking machine) are separated into single rows and fed into a can washing machine via a pneumatic or chain conveyor system.
2. Filling and Capping: Clean empty cans are precisely fed into can filling machine. The filling valve injects beer into the can under constant or isobaric conditions (to prevent splashing and carbon dioxide escape). Immediately after filling, the cans enter the capping machine.
3. Pasteurization: Capped beer cans enter a tunnel pasteurizer. The cans move slowly through a temperature-controlled hot water spray zone, ensuring that every part of the beer in the can reaches the specific pasteurization temperature and remains there for a sufficient time to inactivate yeast and most bacteria.
4. Can Drying and Labeling: After pasteurization and cooling, the water on the can surface is dried. The cans then enter the labeling machine, where pre-adhesive labels (usually shrink film labels or paper labels) are precisely applied to or affixed to the can.
5. Packaging and Palletizing: Individual beer cans are grouped (e.g., 6 cans, 12 cans, 24 cans) and packaged into sales units using cardboard or plastic film. The packaged cases of beer are then stacked on wooden or plastic pallets according to a predetermined pattern by automated palletizing robots or palletizers and secured with stretch film, ready for shipment to warehouses or logistics.
